We planned to spend some days in Melbourne but we found the weather and transport not really conducive to a pleasant stay. But we enjoyed a visit to some of the shops, museum and restaurant. We will be back.
Another highlight was the Reunion with Catherine-Anne, Katherine's niece.
We stayed a night at Willow Park at Rosedale and in the morning we found a Biker gathering of the "Indian Waters" motorcycle group. They were there for a group photograph.
Not associated with the Bikers but equally interesting.
Located outside a swimming pool in one of the small towns we visited. Needless to say we did not try the pool !!
Another special site was "Catherine's" advertising on the side of this quality vehicle.
But before saying goodbye to Victoria we have to show some of the vista's.
The sun, sky and clouds can be appreciated.
When saying farewell we must also say goodbye to Bass Straight and this photograph shows the outfall of "The Snowy River" to Bass Straight.
And then we have sunset across "The Snowy"
This was only a small part of our visit to Victoria, previous Blogs have described "The Great Ocean Road" and the "Ottways". They were terrific.
So farewell to Victoria and thanks.
