Hobart and up to the North via the East Coast.

Just to prove that we are still together after all these months on the road, this is the travellers at the Highlands of Tasmania.

This is the Tamar River when viewed from our overnight stop

This is the view from Coles Bay wharf, the beauty and spectacular nature of this mountain is not captured in the photograph. The water clarity and blue of the water was stunning.

Just to prove that we are not alone in the Van, just view the visitors to the Platypus viewing area, this is not unique has we travel around.

One of the treasures of Tasmania is the Buildings in Launceston.

This town has the measure of retaining old buildings with appropriate renovation while at the same time incorporating new designs.

There seemed to be no buildings in the centre of the town that exceeded the height of it's neighbour.

The Old and new sympathetically integrated.

There were well over a hundred of these buildings, historical yet refurbished.

At one our overnight stops we had a visitor who was most interested in the side mirror and did not object being photographed.

At the same site as the bird, we could not resist the view and pleasant overnight stop, so we took no notice of the no camping sign.

This is the Salamanca market entertainment, very professional and went on for quite a few hours.

The Market was interesting in that it combined the cheap and nasty with the expensive and artistic.

This is at the Market and shows what can be done with redundant Grain Silos.

The front overlooks the Hobart wharf and marina area.

This is the rear of the above photograph reveals the original Silos.

The following photographs are from the Hobart Botanical Gardens collection for the flora lovers

This is a scupture in wood that integrates with the style of the Gardens.

The distance travelled = 8352 km

Distance from Perth = 3935 km

Days on the road =131
