The waiting is over

For the past few months we have been waiting for the body to recover from both the shoulder and knee operation.


Well on Friday last, the 26th October, the Surgeon pronounced all was as well as could be expected and that the trip could start when we wanted.


Good news indeed and on that basis we planned to leave Perth on Wednesday the 30th and head east.


There are still one or two gremlins in the plan

1. A lost credit card may be a small irritant.



2. Katherine has to decide on whether a knee brace is worth a small delay.This has been suggested to assist the pain reduction when walking following the knee clean out that was performed at the same time as the shoulder operation.



3. Also we have discovered a small water leak in the "Van's" plumbing.

After the last few months these are only minor tremors to the "Plan"
